Au centre, les armoiries de la Barbade, à l’écu d’or chargé d’un figuier aux feuilles de sinople et de deux fleurs de flamboyant de gueules, entre un dauphin héraldique à gauche et un pélican à droite, au-dessus d’une bannière d’or portant la légende PRIDE AND INDUSTRY (en français “FIERTÉ ET INDUSTRIE”) de sable et sous un heaume d’argent surmonté d’un bras brandissant deux cannes à sucre disposées en croix ; dans la partie supérieure, le nom du pays émetteur BARBADOS (en français “BARBADE”) ; dans la partie inférieure, la valeur faciale 1 DOLLAR, entre l’indication du poids du métal à gauche, 1 oz (pour une once), et celle de son titrage à droite, Ag 999 (pour argent fin, 24 carats)
