Dessin célébrant les cent-vingt ans de la mort de l’auteur Jules Verne (né le 8 février 1828 à Nantes et mort le 24 mars 1905 à Amiens) et mettant à l’honneur son œuvre intitulée “Voyage au centre de la Terre”, avec une représentation des éléments suivants : le professeur Otto Lidenbrock, son radeau naviguant sur la mer nommée en son honneur, des créatures préhistoriques, le volcan Stromboli et un champignon au pied couvert de runes, en référence aux inscriptions qui ont guidé les aventuriers jusqu’à l’entrée du volcan Sneffels ; dans la partie basse, le millésime 2025

A drawing celebrating one hundred twenty years since the death of the French writer Jules Verne (born in Nantes, France, on 8th February 1828, and dead in Amiens, France, on 24th March 1905), paying tribute to his book entitled “Journey to the Center of the Earth”, with a representation of the following elements : Professor Otto Lidenbrock, his raft on the Lidenbrock Sea, prehistoric creatures, the Stromboli volcano and a mushroom on which we can see runes, in reference to the inscriptions that lead the adventurers to the entrance to the Sneffels volcano ; year of issue 2025 in the lower part

Plume traversant le dessin ; dans la partie supérieure les inscriptions “Le mieux est l’ennemi du bien. / Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch’intrate. / To be, or not to be : that is the question. / Was mich nicht umbringt, macht mich stärker.’” ; dans la partie inférieure l’inscription “L’art de la plume”, en cursive, la valeur faciale 10 € (10 euro), dans une écriture stylisée, et les initiales RF de République Française entre les différents monétaires (dont la corne d’abondance de la Monnaie de Paris à gauche)
