Lion à la patte droite appuyée sur la Constitution belge de 1831, tête tournée vers l’arrière ; valeur faciale 12 1/2 EURO et monogramme du roi Philippe sous la ligne de sol ; en légende le nom du pays émetteur en français (BELGIQUE), en flamand (BELGIE) et en allemand (BELGIEN), délimité par les différents monétaires (à gauche le caducée de l’atelier d’Utrecht, à droite l’écu au chevron)
