Bust of Marianne wearing a pearl necklace, left to edge of medal, engraved by Arthus-Bertrand, whose signature appears behind the neck ; her hair in a bun, decorated with oak and wheat ears ; a five-pointed star at the very top of the medal. Cartouche rond au centre, portant l’inscription COMICE AGRICOLE DU CANTON DE GRANVILLE / 29-30 AOÛT 1908, entouré entre 8 et 4 heures de têtes d’animaux (bélier, vache et cheval), d’éléments végétaux (épis de blé, vigne, poire, pommes et chardon) et d’outils agricoles (charrue, faux et herse triangulaire) ; cuirs vierges au-dessous

Surrounded in its higher part by heads of animals (ram, cow and horse), vegetal decorations (wheat ears, grapevine, a pear, apples and thistle) and agricultural tools (plough, scythe and triangular harrow), a round cartouche at the center of the medal, in which appears the inscription COMICE AGRICOLE DU CANTON DE GRANVILLE (in English AGRICULTURAL SHOW OF GRANVILLE CANTON) / 29-30 AOÛT (in English 29th-30th AUGUST) 1908 ; no inscription in the lower part of the medal
