Au centre, sur fond de pierre à aiguiser, un diamant de 0,05 carats taillé par le bijoutier néerlandais Gassan ; dans la partie supérieure l’inscription AMBACHT VAN DIAMANTBEWERKER (qui pourrait être traduit en français par MÉTIER ARTISANAL DU TAILLEUR DE DIAMANT) ; dans la partie inférieure l’inscription AMSTERDAM, CITY OF DIAMONDS (en français AMSTERDAM, LA VILLE DES DIAMANTS) surmontée de l’écu d’Amsterdam, de gueules au pal de sable chargé de trois flanchis d’argent, et de celui d’Anvers, de gueules au château à trois tours d’argent ajourées de sables, celles du milieu étant encadrée par deux mains appaumées d’argent

At the center of the obverse, on a surface like a sharpening stone, a real 0.05 carats diamond cut by Dutch jeweller Gassan ; in the upper part the inscription AMBACHT VAN DIAMANTBEWERKER (which English translation can be CRAFT OF THE DIAMOND CUTTER) ; in the lower part the inscription AMSTERDAM, CITY OF DIAMONDS, surmounted by the shields of Amsterdam and Antwerp, the first one Gules with a pale Sable charged with three saltorels Argent in pale, the second one Gules featuring a castle with three towers Argent, the one in the middle being framed with two hands Argent
