PAMP (Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux) frappe pour la Banque Centrale de Malte deux monnaies de 3 euro en cupro-nickel BU (Brillant Universel) rendant hommage au peintre Le Caravage et à sa toile “Saint-Jérôme écrivant”, réalisée entre 1605 et 1606. L’une des deux versions est colorisée.
