The Royal Mint strikes a 50 Pence coin to pay tribute to Alan Turing, British mathematician born in London on 23rd June 1912 and dead in Wilmslow on 7th June 1954. The coin is offered in different versions : BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) copper-nickel, Proof silver (.925 Ag) and Proof gold (.916 Au).
