Created by a magic wand, many five-pointed stars, on which are written the motto LIBERTÉ-ÉGALITÉ-FRATERNITÉ (in English LIBERTY EQUALITY FRATERNITY), the face value 1 EURO 1/2 and the privy marks (on the left, the cornucopia of the “Régie des Monnaies”, and on the right, the horseshoe, chosen by the General engraver Gérard Buquoy) ; at the bottom of those stars, the year of issue 2002 and the initials RF of République Française (in English French Republic)

• Revers / Reverse :

Au premier plan la représentation de Cendrillon colorisée (chevelure jaune, lèvres rouges, vêtement bleu à ceinture marron, balai à manche brun et à poils dorés) ; au second plan une autre représentation d’elle dansant avec le prince charmant ; sur la gauche les visages d’Anastasie et Javotte, la citrouille et les souris qui se transformeront dans le conte en un carrosse et des chevaux, et la célèbre pantoufle de vair (ou de verre selon certains) ; sur la droite une horloge indiquant minuit moins vingt ; au bas du dessin le millésime 2002 et un α.
